Microfile's services performed meet all federal standards for storage of electronic images, microfilming and film processing. Survey your records:
Our regional Microfile office will send a qualified technician to your location to provide a free survey your records. We will give you information on our current methods of imaging based upon your specialized needs. This method includes looking at the paper quality, density, color grade and even taking sample test shots of some records. Send an e-mail to Service@Microfile.com.

A Written Estimate:
Microfile can provide you with a written estimate for microfilming and/or imaging services. We want to help you with your document management needs and will meet with your management staff to go over our imaging process. Send an e-mail to Service@Microifle.com.
If you have any questions on any of your products, send an e-mail to Sales@Microfile.com. To find out how much an item will be without actually placing the order, you can select the item or number of items and add it to your cart. Once added you can change the amounts or items or just check all and delete from your cart. You can even go as far as setting up an account to get the shipping information and cancel at the last moment. |
Electronic Document Imaging:
We can provide the latest electronic document imaging with our high speed scanners and saving files in TIFF or PDF formats. Electronic storage is the future for fast searchable and sharable data with indexing. We will provide you with your document on CD format for you or your information department to integrate in a central database. You could just use the CDs as they are with a copy of the Image Edition software provided from our friends at Ovation Data Corporation. We can even provide a backup copy of your data on our premise as a service. |

Traditional 16mm Microfilming:
We provide traditional microfilming service for situations that do not require the demands of a high speed searching and sharing of documents that scanning can. Microfilming is still less expensive than electronic scanning and is still the standard in long term storage. Unlike keeping your records in paper format, microfilm does not yellow or decay over time. For overall cost and space savings, microfilming is the best solution for long term storage. |
Large Format Microfilming:
We can provide 35mm large format microfilming for formats up to E size drawings. Our MRD cameras allow us to preserve your "as built" drawings and other engineering blueprints. Storing your large format drawings on microfilm saves time and money on storage and when building departments call upon you for rolls of plans. |

Microfilm to Electronic Format Conversion:
If you have microfilm or microfiche and ready to move toward an electronic format, let Microfile perform this service for you. We have the latest high speed film scanners for converting 16mm, 35mm, apature cards and microfiche to TIFF or PDF formats. We will also provide indexing of your images and send them to you on CD. You can them import them into your existing database or read them directly off the CD with Image Edition Software. |
Inhouse Microfilm Processing:
Microfile has full lab inhouse for processing both 16mm and 35mm microfilm. We have been processing our film for over 20 years and have mastered the proper techniques for the highest image sharpness and clarity. Microfilm processing, which is not so unlike your regular 35mm camera film processing, looks better when it is done by a dedicated professional lab. Many smaller service companies do not develop their own microfilm and outsouce it to general processing houses. These places are like your "drugstore" version of processing and may not take the time required for your images to look their best. |

 |
Diazo Duplication:
We also provide inhouse diazo duplication of your 35mm and 16mm source film. Duplication is an excellent method of backup if you are going to be using your microfilm on a daily basis. Its best if the users or public handle the diazo duplicate film and you store the original source microfilm either in a firesafe or offsite. Public libraries love diazo duplication since the public can be rough in handling rollfilm. |
Jacket Loading:
Microfile offers an easy way to way to view your source microfilm by inserting it into clear plastic protective jackets. This method, if you choose it, allows for easy filing of your microfilm. Many hospitals and lawfirms prefer this method due to the familarity with records in file folders. Microfile also offers a full line of microfilm, fiche and COM readers, reader/printers, scanner printer/readers. |

Paper Copies from Microfilm:
Have you got microfilm or microfiche and no way to convert it back to paper? Sometimes you need your documents back in paper form if you only have them on microfilm. Microfile can make paper copies for you if you do not own a reader/printer or your reader/printer is down. Keep our number on speed dial for when you need quick response for those legal cases, because the courts want paper. |
