Agfa is committed to systematically develop environmentally acceptable products and production processes, to conserve natural resources, operate its facilities safely and minimise the environmental impact of its activities and products. Agfa will advise its customers, its employees and the authorities with an evaluation of Agfa products and their manufacturing processes, in all matters pertaining to health, safety and environment.
Agfa will not restrict its activities to merely complying with legal and other requirements relative to safety, health and environment. For that purpose Agfa supports the "Responsible Care" initiative, a voluntary program of the Chemical Industry.
Product Stewardship is our corporate commitment. It is Responsible Care applied to products and it means taking responsibility for one's products by critically examining the environmental and safety issues throughout each stage of the product's life-cycle. On its own initiative, it will also take further steps based on its proper sense of responsibility.
